How to type macrons for writing latin?

This post is not exactly about latin, but I think some people might find it useful. Typing characters that are not on the keyboard is difficult. Or it would be, if it wasn't for WinCompose. If you are like me, and don't like changing the language of your computer to maori or whatever, this is a good solution. According to it's web: "WinCompose is a compose key for Windows. It allows to easily write special characters such as é ž à ō û ø ☺ ¤ ∅ « ♯ ⸘ Ⓚ ㊷ ♪ ♬ using short and often very intuitive key combinations". Being clear, it is a free desktop application that each time you type a sequence of letters in your keyboard it will write a specific symbol. When installing it, the following symbol will appear on the taskbar.

To activate the default symbols available, you just type the "composition key", which is normally "alt gr" (you can check what it is by right clicking the WinCompose symbol → Options → Composition). When clicking the composition key one time, the WinCompose symbol will turn green. It means now it's waiting the sequence. The macrons can be typed as follows:

[Compose key]   +  [ a ]   +   [ - ]

[Compose key]   +  [ A ]   +   [ - ]

[Compose key]   +  [ e ]   +   [ - ]

[Compose key]   +  [E ]   +   [ - ]

[Compose key]   +  [ i ]   +   [ - ]

[Compose key]   +  [ I ]   +   [ - ]

[Compose key]   +  [ o ]   +   [ - ]

[Compose key]   +  [ O ]   +   [ - ]

[Compose key]   +  [ u ]   +   [ - ]

[Compose key]   +  [ U ]   +   [ - ]

Easy, right?
